The Academy Road Staff

Timothy Service is the History Faculty & Department Chair at The Albany Academies. He is the advisor for Academy Road and Mock Trial.

Cristi Marchetti currently teaches Upper School English at The Albany Academies in Albany, New York; she previously taught for sixteen years in Pennsylvania public education. As a 2016-2017 Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching recipient, she researched community use of schools while based at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland. 

Mia Corso is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended the school since sixth grade. She is a dedicated member of the school community as the captain of the Varsity Tennis Team, the Vice President of Key Club, the captain of Mock Trial, and a member of various organizations like the Writing Center and Yearbook Club.

Nate King is a senior captain on the varsity lacrosse team and will be attending Cornell University next fall. 

Brady Sears ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies and has been attending since the second grade. Brady is the captain of the Varsity Golf and Baseball teams and serves as a prefect for the Olcott House. 

Adil Inayat ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended since the eighth grade. He is a Henry House Prefect and a Student Ambassador. 

Josh Kaufman is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended the school since ninth grade. He is the captain of the AA Swimming and Diving team and serves as a Prefect for the Gates House.

Evan Heidbreder ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended since the eighth grade. Evan is a Prefect for Olcott House, a  Cum Laude recipient, and leader of the Science Bowl.

Za’mari Turner ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies she has attended The Albany Academies since she was a freshman. She has participated in varsity Indoor and Outdoor track, JV and varsity Volleyball, and Varsity Lacrosse.

Anthony Duvall `24 is a senior and has been attending The Acacemies since Pre-K. He has been playing with the lacrosse program for the past 6 years. Next year, he will be continuing his academic career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Business Analytics. 

Scott Hanson ‘25 is a junior at The Albany Academies and has attended since the ninth grade. He is a member of The Albany Academies Baseball team.

Celise Champigny ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended The Academies since she was a sophomore. She is a captain of the Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team, the senior class Vice President, and a member of many school clubs such as Key Club and Archive Club. 

Natalie Cooney ‘24 is a senior at the Albany Academies where she has attended for 10 years. She is the president of the Chinese Honors Society and Irish Club. She participates in varsity Indoor and Outdoor track as well as Cross Country where she is the captain. 

Lizzie Ryan is a senior at the Albany Academies and has been attending since tenth grade.  Lizzie has been on the AAG Golf team for 3 years. 

Patrick Johnson is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended the school since tenth grade. He is a member of the AA Swimming and Diving team

Daniel Spade ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies who is a second year Academies student. He is a member of the Prep Ice Hockey team

Courtney Phelan is a senior at The Albany Academies. She is a lifer and a highly involved member of the school community as a member of the AAG Varsity Lacrosse team, captain of the Writing Center, President of the Class of 2024, and member of various clubs including Archive Club, Key Club, and Montgomery & Lafayette.

Colette McCleneghen is a senior at The Albany Academies. She is captain of the Girls Varsity Ski team and is involved in clubs such as Equity Club, Art Style Club, and Yearbook. 

Ryan Jackson ‘24 is a senior at The Albany Academies and has attended since the fifth grade. He is a Student Ambassador, a worker at The Albany Academy Extended Day Program, and the leader of the Science Bowl club. 

Charlie Yezzi is a first year student at The Albany Academies as a senior. Charlie is a member of the Academies’ football team.

Ryan Wead is a senior at The Albany Academies.  Ryan is a member of the Prep Hockey team and Varsity Lacrosse team.
